Teaching & Training

Leyton Healthcare is accredited as a GP training Practice and is committed to providing suitable training for the next generation of General Practitioners.

All Trainees are supported and mentored by Dr Kapoor or in his absence one of the other Practice senior GPs.

We are proud to be recognised as a Post Graduate Training Practice for GP Registrars.

November 2015 - 'I worked as an FY2 in Leyton Healthcare for four months, I felt very much part of the team. The practice staff were very approachable, friendly and helpful. I felt supported by the other GPs and my fellow trainees, due to their extensive experience and clinical knowledge. The weekly meetings were useful to discuss difficult cases. I was able to present interesting  cases at afternoon meetings, as well as carry out audit into Elderly Care Assessment. I learned a great deal in terms of communication skills, identify gaps in my knowledge and address these. It was a challenging experience and a steep learning curve, that has made me a better doctor.'

August 2015 - 'A massive thank you for everything. I have really enjoyed working with you all and have learned a great deal.'

December 2013 - 'Thank you for making me feel so welcome. All your humour and kindness will never be forgotten.'
